How to Make Root Beer at Home

Ò  The root beer was firstly produced in American colonies. Making root beer at home is an easy task one can have fun of making this easy recipe at home. Many people will be interested in how one goes about making homemade root beer, so here is a recipe of making root beer at home with a list of ingredients and the preparation method. Ingredients Root beer extract (1 tablespoon), Sugar (1 cup), Yeast (1/4 teaspoon), cool water and a bottle. Things required Funnel, measuring spoons and measuring cups. Preparation method Take a bottle. Clean the bottle well and put the extract in it. Pour the 1 cup sugar in the bottle with the help of funnel. Put Ò¼ teaspoon of yeast in the bottle. Shake the bottle well to mix the yeast and sugar thoroughly. Now, add 1 tablespoon of root beer extract in the bottle. Put cold water in to the bottle until the level increased to one quarter of bottle. Shake the bottle well so that the sugar and yeast dissolved in water. Fill the water with water. Leave space of 3-4 inches from top of bottle. Leave it in any warm area for next 2-3 days. Freeze the beer in the fridge and eat whenever you want. Note Some people want artificial sweeteners, as substitute of sugar in the recipe but there is no substitute is present. As sugar is required for yeast to generate carbon dioxide which carbonates the beverage and if there is no sugar there would be no carbonation.Ò You might experiment with less sugar, and add a substitute to make up for the lower sweetness. You can add 1/2 cup of sugar to 2 liters as it makes plenty of carbonation.
